When I sew, its mostly for my kids or other people – but sometimes, I just want to sew something for ME! The sewing bug has bitten, so I’ve been looking around. There are so many amazing and free patterns out there! Being frugal like I am (OK, I’m cheap. Whatever) I chose tutorials that use stuff you probably already have on hand. Big T-shirts, mostly – I think we all have a few of those lying around, right? If not, hey, there’s a Goodwill for that. Here are a few of my favorites – these fabulous tutorials are now on my list of “things to sew for mama.”
Sew Your Own Cami!
I wear tank tops under nearly everything but finding the right fit is so hard sometimes. And then they shrink, which is annoying, to say the least. I love this pattern for sewing my own cami tank tops from recycled t-shirts which is not only frugal but excellent recycling.

Great collection of projects. Thanks for sharing Tamara’s Don’t Get Out Of Bed vintage sheet pajama pants pattern. I’ve made 6 pairs so far including a pair for my mum. She loves them!
